The Property

The Lake Nona Wave Hotel opened in December 2021. The vibe inside is modern and fun with unique art installations and plenty of space to hang out in the lobby, which the hotel calls the Living Room. The hotel hosts weekly cocktail classes and more than 100 complimentary fitness classes each week.

The Lake Nona Wave Hotel is mostly recognized for its outdoor sculpture garden, which is a fantastic place to stroll around before dinner at Bacán, or while waiting for your car to be brought to the front of the hotel to venture off to one of Orlando’s many other culinary delights.

Guest Rooms

Each of the 234 guest rooms (including 18 suites) are all thoughtfully designed and infused with just the right amount of intuitive technology that you’ll actually use instead of complaining about. The smallest guest rooms (one king or two queen beds) are quite spacious, starting at 42 square feet. Select rooms at this level have balconies that look out over Lake Nona. Each room has a 65-inch HD smart TV, an in-room tablet, smart windows, premium Wi-Fi, temperature controls, and a smart toilet.

The wellness-centered rooms, known as Well+Ech by Wave, also start at 422 square feet and feature circadian lighting and air filtration from Healthe. The bedding in these rooms is made from the latest sleep technology, including a restorative bed from Bryce, moisturizing sheets from Nallapelli, and sleep aids from SleepScore Labs. The same technology that is found in the standard rooms is also found here.

Lake Nona Wave Hotel’s one-bedroom suites are quite large at 875 square feet and have a separate living room and bedroom. In the living room, there’s a wet bar, lounge, and a sofa bed. Most rooms have large balconies and two bathrooms. The bathrooms feature bath amenities by Payot, a walk-in shower, a soaking tub, and the hotel’s iconic smart toilets. In the bedroom, one king bed is placed in the middle of the room, with a large set of drawers and a 65-inch smart TV.

I recently stayed in a one-bedroom suite and had plenty of room for all of my things, a great view of Lake Nona, and had some of the best sleep I’ve ever had at a hotel thanks to the comfortable beds and cozy linens.
