A dream family vacation idea for many parents and kids, Disney Cruise Line sails all over the world while showcasing onboard experiences with favorite Disney characters like Rapunzel, Belle, and the heroes and villains of Star Wars and Marvel.
One element that sets Disney Cruise vacations apart from other family cruises are its themed days at sea, like Marvel Day at Sea or Star Wars Day at Sea on select sailings. These events are popular with cruisers, especially with fans of the franchises. And now, on select Disney Fantasy voyages, guests can enjoy Pixar Day at Sea.

The one-day Pixar Day at Sea celebration will take place on select seven-night voyages, and bring the world of Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., The Incredibles, and other Pixar favorites right to the Disney Fantasy. So, what can guests expect on Pixar Day at Sea? Here’s what to know.

At dinner, families can enjoy an entirely Pixar-themed dinner with dishes that are inspired by the Pixar Animation Studios’ California locale. Those who choose to dine in the Animator’s Palate restaurant will also see Finding Nemo friends, and be able to have conversations with Crush, the wise turtle who helps Marlin and Dory cross the sea in Finding Nemo.
Themed days at sea also include plenty of themed activities. With Star Wars and Marvel Days at Sea, Disney usually has an expert about each franchise come in to do fun talks; there are trivia contests, drawing classes, dance parties, and so much more. And Pixar movies also take over the theaters on the Disney Fantasy, so you can pop in to see some of your favorite Pixar films on the silver screen.

Our Perspective
The Pixar Day at Sea cruise is a fun new enhancement to the already-exciting offerings on Disney Cruise Line vacations. After experiencing both Star Wars and Marvel Days at Sea, I can tell you that themed days are very long, and can be tiring, but they are also so much fun.
Being able to get up early and stay up late to do absolutely everything on themed days is worth it, especially when you know that a relaxing day at Disney’s private island Castaway Cay (and, starting in summer of 2024, Disney Cruise Line’s new private island destination Lighthouse Point) is still to come on your vacation.
How to Find and Book a Pixar Day at Sea
Pixar Day at Sea is part of select seven-night Eastern Caribbean itineraries departing from Cape Canaveral, with stops in the British Virgin Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Disney Castaway Cay. The theme day is also part of select Western Caribbean Disney Fantasy sailings from Cape Canaveral, which stops in Mexico, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, and Castaway Cay.
