Even after you’ve built a custom BB-series droid at Droid Depot, sipped a drink at Oga’s Cantina, and piloted the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy on the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, you’ve still just scratched the surface. Here are a few lesser-known things you can do at Galaxy’s Edge. Except where noted otherwise, these Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge secrets can be experienced in both the Orlando and Anaheim parks.

1. Unlock ‘Chewie Mode’ on the Millennium Falcon at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
Once you’ve experienced Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run for the first time, come back for another spin in the super secret “Chewie Mode,” which replaces the character of Hondo Ohnaka with Chewbacca for the duration of the ride—and definitely delivers a whole different experience. To make it happen, everyone in your group of six on the ride needs to be in on the secret, because you’ll all need to press certain buttons at certain times before the Cast Member checking seat belts comes around.

To activate Chewie Mode hack, pilots need to move their joysticks to the extreme left or right, up or down, then press the flashing green button; and gunners and engineers need to hold one of the white buttons next to the score screen, then press the flashing orange button. Then it’s a matter of wait and see: You won’t know if you’ve successfully unlocked Chewie Mode until the ride starts!
2. Play the Batuu Bounty Hunters Game
One of the most exciting things to do inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is the interactive Batuu Bounty Hunters game. To play, you’ll need one of parks’ MagicBand+ bands, which can be purchased at almost any retail location at Disney World and Disneyland. You’ll also need to download the Play Disney Parks app.

Get started by searching for the touchpoint at the Bounty Board inside Galaxy’s Edge. Your MagicBand+ will light up as you get closer to the bounty. The interactive game is a fun way to explore Galaxy’s Edge without the need to fight for a Lightning Lane reservation for one of the two big rides.
3. Complete a Scavenger Hunt at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
At Disneyland’s version of Galaxy’s Edge, younglings and padawans can participate in a scavenger hunt through the market to spot various creatures and complete some fun tasks. The scavenger hunt has been “created” by the owner of the Creature Stall, Bina. To get started, just ask any Cast Member working in the small merchandise location if they have any scavenger hunt booklets available, then get to work!
4. Change Your Droid’s Allegiance
If you’ve ever built a droid inside the Black Spire Outpost’s Droid Depot in Galaxy’s Edge, you already know you have to assign its allegiance to the First Order or the Resistance before it gets powered up. After you take your droid around Galaxy’s Edge you may find that you want to spy on the other side of the Force.

Well, just walk back into the Droid Depot and pick up a new personality chip, which are for sale all the time, and can be easily swapped out for the old chip. Now your droid has new sounds and interactions it can make with other droids or within the land itself.
5. Fuel up with Breakfast Inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
While most guests at Disney World and Disneyland opt to eat breakfast before entering one of the theme parks, guests at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge may want to hold off on eating eggs and bacon at their hotel.
