And this year there are even some brand new opportunities to save on everything from hotel accommodations to dining.

It can add up to significant savings, allowing you to take that dream trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth and maybe even throw in some experiences you wouldn’t be able to fit into your vacation budget otherwise. Free dining plan for Disney+ subscribers
There’s good news for all of you Disney World foodies out there: Free dining is back in 2024. If you’re a Disney+ subscriber, you can take advantage of a Free Disney Dining Plan promotion running this summer.
One of the biggest changes at Disney World introduced at the top of the new year is the return of the Disney Dining Plan. For families looking for that all-inclusive feel while on vacation, the Dining Plan is a vacation package add-on that allows you to pre-pay for your meals and snacks. In return, you’re equipped with meal and snack credits you can redeem throughout your vacation.

While the Dining Plan offers convenience, many who have crunched the numbers point out that it’s not always advantageous to your vacation budget. More often than not, families stand to spend less on food when paying out-of-pocket. To entice visitors to consider signing up for the Dining Plan, Disney World has offered Free Dining Plan promotions over the years. This can yield huge savings on food while you are on vacation, but you should still check the math to see if what you need to spend on hotel and theme park tickets outweighs any potential savings on dining.
Even so, if convenience is what you’re looking for, this is almost always the best deal around for the Disney Dining Plan. For this 2024 offer, you must be a Disney+ subscriber and the Disney+ subscriber must be on the reservation and stay in the room. This offer is valid for vacations that start July 1 through September 30. You must purchase a non-discounted four-night, four-day package that includes a room and a theme park ticket with a Park Hopper option.
Don’t forget that Disney World has also been running a promotion where kids can enter the theme parks and dine for 50 percent off. A child’s (ages three through nine) theme park ticket and dining plan are half off when you purchase a non-discounted four-night, four-day package for you and your children that includes a room, theme park tickets, and a dining plan. This offer is valid for arrivals between March 3 and March 24, 2024, and between April 7 and June 30, 2024.
Disney World hotel discounts and more
Disney also rolled out a promotion to help you save on Disney World hotel accommodations in 2024. You can save up to 35 percent off your room when staying for five nights or longer or up to 30 percent off for shorter trips. The exact discount will depend on a series of factors, such as which hotel you choose to stay at and when you visit.
In general, this promotion is valid for vacations starting March 25 through October 3 at most Walt Disney World Resort hotels. The steeper discounts can be found for vacations starting July 8 to October 3, 2024, with March 25 through July 7 vacations yielding smaller but still solid room discounts.

For example, you can save 35 percent for vacations that last five nights or longer, with check-in dates from July 8 to October 3, 2024, at most Deluxe Resorts like Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Or, you can save 20 parent for vacations that last one to four nights with check-in dates starting March 25 to July 7, 2024, at Moderate Resort, such as Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Disney World’s website has a full list of dates and discounts associated with each resort.
Disney World Annual Passholders can also save on their hotel accommodations in 2024. This promotion is good for up to 35 percent off hotel rooms for stays through July 7.
