When it comes to family vacation planning, kids and teens are calling the shots these days more than ever before. According to Mastercard’s recent Travel Trendline report, 76% of parents of Gen Alpha kids (those born between 2010 and 2024) say their children have significant input on vacation destinations. And 85% of those parents admit their kids have veto power over destinations they deem boring.

Hotels and resorts are paying attention, rolling out new kids and teen programming to keep young travelers happy and entertained. Think guided horseback rides, tree-climbing lessons, tricked-out game rooms, and even baby yoga sessions. Boredom definitely won’t be a problem at these hotels and resorts with new offerings for babies, kids, and teens.
