In the spring of 2021, Disney broke ground on a brand-new Disney Vacation Club tower coming to the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California. Officially named The Villas at Disneyland Hotel, the new tower will feature 350 rooms as well as a new pool area and will sit adjacent to the hotel’s existing three towers.

Nearly two years after construction began, Disney has announced that the 12-story tower will welcome its first overnight guests this September. As guests step inside the tower they will be greeted by a blend of “timeless Walt Disney Animation Studios classics with contemporary designs,” per Disney Parks Blog.

ULTIMATE GUIDE: Everything You Need to Know about Disney Vacation Club (DVC)

Types of Guest Rooms at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel

The Villas at Disneyland Hotel will have three main types of rooms available for booking: duo studios, deluxe studios, and one- and two-bedroom villas, each inspired by works from Walt Disney Animation Studios.

The duo studios will feature designs inspired by The Jungle Book while the deluxe studios will offer two different designs, with rooms inspired by Sleeping Beauty or The Princess and the Frog. The one- and two-bedroom villas will also include designs inspired by The Princess and the Frog along with villas inspired by Fantasia.

If you need even more room to stretch out in, the new DVC tower will also feature a multilevel three-bedroom Grand Villa. The bottom floor of the Grand Villa will have a primary bedroom suite inspired by Bambi, a full-size kitchen, dining area, and a double-sided fireplace which leads to your very own private outdoor balcony. Upstairs, you will find two more bedrooms (inspired by Frozen and Moana), each with en-suite bathrooms, along with a washer and dryer.

The Villas at Disneyland Hotel Will Bring More DVC Options to the West Coast

In addition to the many off-property hotels near Disneyland, the Disneyland Resort has three on-property resort hotels: Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. Until now, the Grand Californian was the only resort that offered Disney Vacation Club bookings through the Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. This new DVC tower at Disneyland Hotel will be a welcome addition to the current DVC lineup, especially for West Coast-based members.
