Opened late November 2025
With the opening of Naples Beach Club, A Four Seasons Resort at the end of 2025, families have a new option for a luxe beach vacation in Southwest Florida. Kayaks, paddleboards, and beach games are available for enjoying the resort’s 1,000 feet of white-sand beach, while a pool with a splash area offers another way to cool off. Additional amenities include five dining destinations, a full-service spa, a 24-hour fitness center, and racket sports facilities. Still to come in 2026: a kids club and a family-friendly pub with Four Seasons’ first regulation four-lane bowling alley, a putting green, and a game room.

2. Kindred Resort
Keystone, Colorado
Opening January 2026
Situated at the base of Colorado’s Keystone Resort with ski-in/ski-out access, the new Kindred Resort will make it easy to enjoy a winter getaway as a family. The on-site River Run Village ski school will help get the kids on the slopes, and the resort will be participating in Keystone’s Kids Ski Free program. Firepits around the property will provide the perfect place to warm up over s’mores after a long day of skiing. Kindred’s team of storytellers visit the firepits during apres-ski time, and a kids club will offer games and other activities for young guests. A year-round outdoor heated pool and two hot tubs serve as slopeside soaking spots.
3. Sapphire Sands Villas
Castries, Saint Lucia
Opening early 2026
Set on the shores of Reduit Beach in Saint Lucia, Sapphire Sands Villas will feature one-, two-, and three-bedroom beachfront villas ideal for a tropical family getaway. A spa, centerpiece pool, 24/7 butler service, and kids club will add to the relaxing vibe, and guests will also have access to the facilities at nearby sister properties including Bay Gardens Beach Resort & Spa, home to the beachside Splash Island Water Park.
4. Sunvivia Mazatlán by Fiesta Americana
Mazatlán, Mexico
Opening early 2026
The first property in a new brand concept for Mexico hospitality operator Grupo Posadas, Sunvivia Mazatlán by Fiesta Americana will espouse an “All in Joy” philosophy focused on relaxation, entertainment, and family connection. Four oceanfront towers will house 177 residential-style rooms and suites, including one-, two-, and three-bedroom options. Beyond the beach guests will find two infinity pools, a children’s area with a wading pool, a variety of dining options, and a fully equipped gym and spa.

5. Moon Palace The Grand–Punta Cana
Punta Cana, Dominican Republc
Opening spring 2026
With 2,171 rooms—66% of which will feature direct ocean views—Moon Palace The Grand–Punta Cana will offer the highest number of oceanfront accommodations in the Dominican Republic’s history. More than 20 dining options, a surf simulator, multiple pools, and paddleboarding, kayaking, and snorkeling at the beach are just some of the included amenities that will help guarantee a great family vacation. The all-inclusive resort’s two 18-story towers allowed for the preservation of protected mangrove forest and other natural vegetation, and from 2027 onward, the resort will be fully powered by renewable energy.
6. Hershey Inn & Suites
Hummelstown, Pennsylvania
Opening spring 2026
This new addition to The Official Resorts of Hersheypark will feature 130 rooms and suites, including a family suite option with bunk beds and a sleeper sofa that can accommodate six guests. 7. Outbound Sedona
Sedona, Arizona
Opening May 1, 2026
Set amidst Sedona’s iconic red rocks, the 138-room Outbound Sedona will feature a modern Pueblo-inspired design and amenities like tiered swimming pools, firepits, and a spa. The property’s Two Queen Adventure Room will be an ideal choice for families, with bunk beds over two queen beds providing sleeping space for six, and guests will enjoy easy access to hiking trails, biking routes, and other outdoor activities. The brand is also opening a location in Yosemite in June with cabins and lodge-style rooms just 15 miles from Yosemite National Park’s South Gate.
8. Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman Resort & Spa
George Town, Grand Cayman
Opening May 2026
The first Grand Hyatt in the Cayman Islands, Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman Resort & Spa sits along 900 feet of oceanfront near Seven Mile Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. The new resort will offer 382 guestrooms; three pools (including a dedicated family-friendly pool); snorkeling, paddleboarding, and other water activities; and close proximity to George Town and local nature attractions. 9. The Westin Playa Vallarta, an All-Inclusive Resort

Westin’s first all-inclusive resort in Mexico, The Westin Playa Vallarta will feature 281 suites, including two-bedroom family suites with kitchenettes. An expansive family pool, tennis and pickleball courts, spa, fitness center, and kids club will keep everyone entertained, while a slew of on-site dining options will offer everything from Japanese and Mexican cuisine to ice cream and burgers. Located just steps from the Jordanelle Express Gondola in Deer Valley East Village, Canopy by Hilton at Deer Valley will offer a new lodging option for families who like to ski or want to take advantage of Park City’s outdoor pursuits at other times of year. The 180-room hotel will feature a dedicated ski reception lobby and ski locker room, along with a pool and hot tub, steam room and sauna, fitness center, and golf simulator. 11. Kimpton Tres Rios Riviera Maya

The new Morgan’s Hotel will be located just steps away from Morgan’s Wonderland, the only theme park designed for mobility-challenged and neurodivergent guests. The 93-room hotel will be equally accommodating, with oversized rooms, extra-wide hallways, sound-absorbing decor, and an AI concierge to make sure guests’ needs are met prior to arrival. When Kalahari Resorts & Conventions–Spotsylvania opens later in 2026, it will be Virginia’s largest indoor water park resort. The company’s fifth location will feature 900 family-friendly suites, an indoor adventure park with games and a ropes course, and a more than 175,000-square-foot indoor water park. 14. Universal Kids Resort Hotel
Frisco, Texas

This new hotel will give families a convenient place to stay while visiting new regional theme park Universal Kids Resort. Designed for families with young children, the new park will feature lands themed to popular TV and movie characters like Shrek, SpongeBob SquarePants, the Trolls, and the Minions. Universal Kids Resort Hotel will offer playfully decorated rooms that can sleep up to six guests, including family suites with bunk beds.
15. Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Orlando
Kissimmee, Florida
Opening 2026
SpongeBob SquarePants, the PAW Patrol, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be coming to the theme park capital of the world when Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Orlando opens in 2026 (exact timing TBA). At the kid-centric resort, the whole family can make a splash at the Aqua Nick water park, eat like a Ninja Turtle at Mikey’s Pizzeria, and even get a famous Nickelodeon sliming. The resort will be located within the 220-acre Everest Place complex near Walt Disney World Resort and even offer condos available for purchase.
