If there’s two things Disney knows it’s that kids love Disneyland and adults love saving money. Just last night I paid the balance on a late fall Disneyland vacation (celebrating my daughter’s birthday; a trip that we put off due to Covid and are only now circling back around to) that reminded me just how expensive a fun weekend at the parks can be.
Which is why the announcement of a new, limited-time special ticket offer for kids really hit home. The deal is good: children’s tickets for 1-, 2- or 3-Day Park tickets starting at $50 for kids ages 3 to 9. You can book these tickets online starting on October 24 for visits between January 8 and March 10, 2024. The discount can be combined with Park Hopper tickets and/or Disney Genie+ service.

Speaking of Genie+ (which we have a great explainer on, BTW), purchasing the add-on that helps you spend less time in line will soon have two more attractions in its offerings: The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel’s Undersea Adventure and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever go to Disneyland without getting Genie+ again; it’s definitely worth the extra money even if I kind of wish it was just built into every ticket.
PRIMER TIME: How to Plan Your First Disney Vacation
And in Florida, Walt Disney World has its own savings package for Spring 2024 visits geared toward families with younger kids. The offer, which will be available to book starting on November 14, offers half-price children’s (ages 3 through 9) theme park tickets and dining plans when they’re booked with a regular-priced four-night, four-day Walt Disney Travel Co. package. That deal is good for “most nights” (I’m assuming that means there are some spring-break and Easter blackout dates) between March 3 and June 30, 2024.
