Walt Disney World just revealed three more reasons to visit this summer

Generous hotel discounts for Disney+ subscribers and a new ticket offer sweeten the deal when it comes to booking a summer vacation to Walt Disney World.

This summer was already looking like a great time to book a Walt Disney World vacation, but three new announcements this week made a summer vacation even more enticing. Summer usually means hot, humid weather in Central Florida, but for the past few years, it has also meant incredible opportunities to save some money on a Disney World vacation.

In case you were still on the fence for whether you wanted to book the trip, take a look at these three new promotions and special events revealed for the summer season. See which ones you qualify for and which ones may make your trip even less expensive (or more worth the visit!).

Steep hotel Disney World discounts for Disney+ subscribers

Similar to last summer, Disney World just launched generous hotel discounts for Disney+ subscribers enrolled in the Disney+ Perks program. These rates are available to book now for arrival on most dates from June 21 through August 15.

These are some of the best hotel rates you’ll find all year! Prices start at the following amounts at the following hotels:

  • $99 per night, plus tax: Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort – Standard Room
  • $169 per night, plus tax: Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside – Standard Location 5th Sleeper
  • $249 per night, plus tax: Disney’s Art of Animation Resort – Cars Family Suite
  • $279 per night, plus tax: Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort – Deluxe Studio
  • $369 per night, plus tax: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Savanna View

These rooms won’t be available forever, so be sure to book ASAP if you want to take advantage of these special rates.

Disney World launches new “after 2:00 PM” ticket

If you want your Disney World summer vacation to include a little more rest and relaxation, there might be the perfect ticket option for your family that could wind up in additional savings. Disney World revealed a new ticket type that’s valid for entry starting at 2:00 PM. At launch, the ticket is available as a 2-day and 3-day option.

The After 2PM ticket is valid for use May 26 through July 29. Prices for the ticket vary by date. For the 2-day ticket, prices start at $118 per day. For the 3-day ticket, prices start at $116 per day. The 2-day ticket must be used within 4 days of selected start date and the 3-day ticket must be used within 5 days of selected start date.

V.I.Passholder Days return to Walt Disney World this summer

Finally, Annual Passholders can look forward to the return of V.I.Passholder Days, which will take place at Walt Disney World from May 1 through July 31.

V.I.Passholders Days feature limited-time items and special discounts around the resort exclusively to Disney World Annual Passholders. You can expect to find new Passholder merchandise, food and beverage items, a new magnet, and more. While V.I.Passholder Days aren’t necessarily the flashiest reasons to visit, it does add a nice touch if you happen to be a Passholder.
