Tired of sifting through endless vacation rental booking sites and squinting at photos to try to figure out if your rental property will be a relaxing getaway or one-star nightmare?

Travel startup D. Alexander is hoping that fed up and overwhelmed travelers are ready to try a different approach to booking a vacation rental. Instead of searching on your own and choosing a house, you’ll work with an advisor at D. Alexander who will match you to a home in the area of your choice, based on what amenities you’re looking for, date of travel, and the number of rooms you need.

Vacation Rentals with D. Alexander

The houses are all owned by D. Alexander and outfitted with stylish furnishings, luxury bedding, and fun amenities like private pools, hot tubs, or gaming systems to keep the kids busy. Most of the houses available for rent are large, with options available to sleep up to 27, making them perfect for large family getaways or reunions.

Right now, homes are available for rent in three destinations: Tennessee’s Great Smoky Mountains; Florida’s Emerald Coast; and Sedona, Arizona.

Rental property rates range from $300 to $800 per night, depending on size and location. The prices are fixed, meaning you won’t have to pay a surcharge for traveling during peak season—so whether you visit Florida in January or July, the cost will be the same. Rates also include all cleaning fees, incidentals, and security deposits, saving you from any surprises on your bill at the end of the booking process.

You can pay for the stay as a one-off purchase, or you can sign up for a monthly $89 subscription with D. Alexander, which gets you discounted pricing, early access to new rental homes, and other perks.
