Bonjour! This is a special edition of theme park news, where I’m bringing you the latest from Disneyland Paris. It was previously announced that Walt Disney Studios Park would be re-named Disney Adventure Park, complete with new lands such as World of Frozen, attractions, dining, and much more.

Well…this week we learned important information surrounding the changes coming to Disneyland Paris. This includes the long-awaited opening date of World of Frozen! Let’s catch up on the latest news out of Disneyland Paris, including the highly-anticipated announcement of when most of these changes will be complete.
World of Frozen debuts March 29
The biggest addition to the soon-to-be-named Disney Adventure World is World of Frozen, a new land inspired by Arendelle from the hit Frozen film franchise. The land, which has a sister location at Hong Kong Disneyland, will feature new attractions, dining, and much more. The land officially opens on March 29, 2026.

As the story goes, Arendelle is preparing for the Snowflower Festival, a one-of-a-kind celebration. The village of Arendelle is specially decorated for the occasion. More than just a replica of Arendelle in the films, the preparation for and celebration of the Snowflower Festival “truly brings the kingdom of Arendelle to life,” says Michel den Dulk, Vice-President and Portfolio Executive Creative Director, Walt Disney Imagineering Paris. “Working together across disciplines, our Imagineers combined creativity and attention to detail to craft a world that captures the spirit of the story and feels real and immersive.”

The land’s hallmark ride is Frozen Ever After, a boat ride similar to the versions seen in EPCOT and Hong Kong Disneyland. World of Frozen will feature the latest Audio-Animatronic figures bringing your favorite Frozen characters to life.

Speaking of characters, you’ll also be able to say “hello” to them out and about in World of Frozen. This includes Olaf, a free-roaming Audio-Animatronic. Other roaming characters around the land include Oaken and Mossie, the adorable baby troll seen in Hong Kong Disneyland. Guests will also be able to greet Queen Elsa and Princess Anna in “A Royal Encounter” in Arendelle Castle.

You can also spot your favorite characters along Arendelle Bay in a new 15-minute show exclusive to Disneyland Paris called “A Celebration of Arendelle.” The show will take place several times each day. Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and other villagers will board three majestic Viking longships and lead a participatory show that invites guests to sing along to their favorite tunes from Frozen and Frozen II. The show will also feature new music composed by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, the songwriting duo behind the Frozen films.

The longships continue the decades-long partnership between Disneyland Paris and local artisans, developed with Couach Construction Navale, a renowned French shipbuilder from the Bordeaux region. When it’s time to eat, you’ll want to head to the land’s new Quick Service dining location called Nordic Crowns Tavern.

Serving lunch and dinner, guests will enjoy a menu featuring Nordic-inspired meals that include your choice of base (like mashed potatoes or quinoa), protein (like grilled salmon or Nordic meatballs), seasonal veggies, and sauces. The dining location will also be home to “frosty desserts like blue sorbet, vanilla ice cream with customizable toppings, delicate snowflake treats, and traditional pastries.”

Adventure Way offers more new attractions and character dining
Adventure Way will serve as the new gateway bridging World Premiere Plaza with Disney Adventure World’s other lands: Marvel Avengers Campus, Worlds of Pixar, and World of Frozen. March 29 will also mark the opening day of a new ride found in Adventure Way: Raiponce Tangled Spin.

A second attraction inspired by the Pixar film Up will debut at a later date in Adventure Way. This flying carousel is fun for the whole family and will give riders the chance to enjoy the sites and sounds of Adventure Way from new heights.

Adventure Way will be home to multiple new dining locations including the brand new Table Service character restaurant: The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge.

The restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner as guests have the chance to meet Belle, Merida, Jasmine, Mulan, Aurora and Ariel. Some characters, such as Aurora and Ariel, will don brand-new, never-before-seen looks at Disneyland Paris. Some of the seating at The Regal View Restaurant will provide stunning views of Adventure Bay, making it a prime seating location for the new nighttime show (more on that in a sec).

The Regal View Lounge will be the first bar inside a Disneyland Paris theme park. Its designs pay homage to the animal companions of your favorite Disney Princesses, and the menu will include specialty cocktails and other drinks that reflect each of the princess’ personalities.

Looking for more dining? Not to worry. Adventure Way will be home to a whopping 14 brand-new food and beverage locations. Spots such as La Terrasse Panoramique will serve hearty bread bowls (perfect for a wintery day in France), Café Luminosity is where you’ll find hot dogs and sweet treats, and places like Chalets and mobile food carts will offer new bites such as filled brioche rolls, stuffed potato waffles, and whimsical desserts inspired by Disney Princesses.

Throughout Adventure Way, guests will hear a brand-new original score developed and recorded exclusively for Disney Adventure World. The 40-minute score was recorded at Abbey Road Studio and “complements the lush gardens, elegant architecture, and vibrant entertainment along the avenue.”
Adventure Bay hosts a new nighttime spectacular
Adventure Bay will be located at the heart of Disney Adventure World. During the day, the West Pavilion along Adventure Bay will serve as a new meet-and-greet location for Mickey and Minnie, donning brand-new Victorian outfits. Shortly after the land’s opening, more characters will make appearances along Adventure Bay both day and night.

After nightfall, guests will congregate around Adventure Bay to take in the sights and sounds of a brand new nighttime show: Disney Cascade of Lights.

Disney Cascade of Lights will feature the world’s first integration of a revolutionary aquatic drone system as well as next-generation aerial drones. The result is “breathtaking choreographies that unfold simultaneously across the sky and the water.” The show will feature water screens, choreographed fountains, large-scale projections, dynamic lighting, special effects, and pyrotechnics.

With even more changes coming to Disney Adventure World beyond 2026, including a flume ride based on the 1994 animated film The Lion King, Disneyland Paris is quickly climbing to the top of my travel bucket list! There are so many exciting changes coming, so be sure to follow along in the weeks and months leading up to March 29.
