Flip through Gina’s passport, and you’ll see many stamps from lesser-visited destinations. Her propensity to go off the beaten path has always influenced how she travels -- including on cruises. Some of her most memorable experiences have been climbing Bosnia and Herzegovina’s remote mountains, town-hopping in Tunisia, scuba diving in a cave and dodging a case of rabies. Gina previously served as a Cruise Critic editor for more than six years, sailing across every mainstream line as well as on various luxury, river and expedition ships. She now balances freelance writing with her favorite title: Mom. She loves adventuring with her two young kids around their home in South Florida and beyond, and explaining why certain places they go to don’t offer "Mickey waffles." In her spare time, you’ll find Gina outside and staying active -- yes, even during the long, hot Florida summers. She also enjoys all things locally sourced, reading, cooking, gardening, thrifting, Philadelphia sports and guessing people’s Myers Briggs personality types (she’s an ENFJ).
